Christmas in February

I like to think of myself as somewhat laid back, while others (well, one specific “other” person) would say I’m downright disorganized.  Maybe I’m a little disorganized in some areas, but in others, I have to admit I’m guilty.

Take holiday cards, for example.  My friends and family will shortly receive their Christmas/holiday cards. Yes, it’s February 2, and they probably won’t actually get mailed until Feb. 6.  But I’m not disorganized – I’m creative! I had custom cards made celebrating the unusually belated nature of my gesture.  After all, I justify in my mind, who wouldn’t want to be reminded of the joyous HannaChrismaKwanzika holidays come February when you’re doing your taxes and pondering things like the Super Bowl and President’s Day?

So maybe this time I was a little disorganized.  Could be worse, couldn’t it?  I could have just decided not to send any cards at all.
