Well, I’ve done it. I’ve dived — head first, I should add — back into the corporate world of public relations, and I’ve got to say that it’s tough work.

It’s only been two days, and already, I feel like my dog and I are strangers passing in the night. Well, not really. I guess we’d be strangers who happen to follow the same dog-walking path twice a day in the morning and at night. But what is clear to me at this point is that there needs to be a lot of focus on delineating work from home. Of course, my friend Robert told me today that he reached a point where he hated hearing his Blackberry go off, because it meant that the work/home separation was temporarily suspended.

Life goes on, and it’s more “connected” than ever.
