Storm over

We spent the entire day at Rehoboth yesterday inside (rather than going out and facing Ernesto’s 50 m.p.h. winds), and once the sun came up, we could see the damage. The storm, which raged for at least 12 hours, knocked down every single tree in The Tides, the condo and townhouse community where we have our beach house.

We’re all OK, though. I spent the afternoon watching Films That Appeal to the Inner Asian Dude (Memoirs of a Geisha, The House of Flying Daggers, and a 3-hour-long Bollywood movie that was filmed in NYC but was entirely in Hindi).
