Check the photo pages for pictures from this year’s Waterlily Festival and Lotus Asian Cultural Festival, which took place at the Kenilworth Park and Aquatic Gardens here in Washington.

The event drew a huge crowd of people from across the D.C. area, plus several bus loads of Korean tourists.  A large Korean Buddhist temple co-sponsored the festival, and members of that congregation led tours through the gardens while children went on a photo safaris with disposable cameras.
